ENCLOSURE
The construction of Enclosure is prefabricated with mild steel. The metal base will be made of hot dip galvanised steel and ensure rigidity and easy transportation and installation. Ventilation apertures will be sufficient for natural ventilation. Double doors will be equipped with key lock and rubber seals. It is weather and water proof with degree of protection IP33 and suitable for
all climates.

RING MAIN UNIT
Medium Voltage Ring Main Unit is type-tested, metal enclosed, SF6 insulated indoor
switchgear installation. It is equipped with two ring switches and one transformer fuse
switch. It verifiably meet all the demand encountered in network operation in virtue of
the following features:
- High degree of personnel safety
- High degree of reliability, availability and freedom from maintenance
- Compact and small size
- Problem-free disposal of the SF6 gasOperation not affected by environmental effects
- Conform to IEC standards
- IEC Publication No. 298, 694, 265, 420 and 129
- Equipped with Earth leakage detector (optional)

DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS
The Distribution transformer is used to duly-couple with the LV Distribution Board and Ring Main Unit in the Compact Substation. The medium voltage terminals are coupled by cables/busbars directly to the Ring Main Unit and the low voltage terminals are coupled by cables/busbars directly to the LV Distribution Board. LV DISTRIBUTION BOARD The LV panel is equipped with tinned copper busbars, incoming link units, outgoing fuse units, and instrument panel for meeting and indication.

Compact Substation is normally used for power distribution in light industry estate, housing, etc.
